Rev. Tere Banks, a Licensed Unity Teacher, serves as Spiritual Leader of Light in the Woods. She is committed to holding sacred space for all who want to learn about themselves and their personal spiritual unfoldment. Rev. Banks’ lessons are heartfelt, heart-centered, and focused on living a spiritual life in today’s world facing today’s challenges. She speaks from her own mystical experience of God-realization recognizing the Holy Spirit in all of Life.

Rev. Banks received her Masters Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Mississippi with a focus on education. She has more than 12 years experience as a spiritual counselor. She received her Licensed Unity Teacher Certification from Unity School of Religious Studies in Unity Village, Missouri.

Her vision is to teach, to motivate, to inspire and to empower every person to find personal peace. She honors that each individual is a glorious creation of God on his/her path to enlightenment.
